Searchspring Momentum Builds: Search Traffic Growth, New Customers Won, and Two Awards
SAN ANTONIO–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Searchspring, the global leader in site search, merchandising and personalization, today announced a series of achievements since the first quarter of 2022, including 49 customer wins, two awards and the launch of a new program. Searchspring has expanded its team internationally, focusing on the APAC region, and continued growth is expected for the remainder of the year.
These initiatives have been reflected in Searchspring’s overall growth. In March 2022, the number of search queries supported by Searchspring increased by 116% year-over-year.
The customer wins
In the first quarter, Searchspring gained 49 new customers, including St Frock, an Australia-based online women’s fashion store. Since launching with Searchspring, St Frock has seen a 28% increase in search usage, which has contributed to a 30% increase in conversion rate.
“We love working with Searchspring,” said Matt Page, eCommerce and CRM Manager, St Frock. “During our implementation, the global team has been very professional, structured and thorough to ensure the success of our launch. In 2022, we are focused on expanding our sales globally with the support of Searchspring’s personalization, site personalization and merchandising capability.
International growth and new initiatives
Searchspring is actively developing its teams around the world. New hires in Asia-Pacific bring the total number of employees to 106 worldwide. Searchspring also recently announced a “Start Fresh” program and a sabbatical program as part of its ongoing efforts to make employee mental health an organizational priority.
Another new initiative launched this quarter is the Searchspring e-commerce accelerator, which gives pre-revenue and early-stage e-commerce businesses the opportunity to use Searchspring’s technology.
“We understand how valuable it is to invest in our employees, customers and prospects,” said Peter Messana, CEO of Searchspring. “Retailers face increased competition, supply chain disruptions and continued inflation, so our goal is to support the e-commerce community with technology that drives the ultimate customer experience.”
Searchspring received two accolades in Q1 2022 for its work with key partners as they pursued the common goal of helping brands and retailers drive their businesses forward.
In addition, Searchspring ranked as a “Leader” in the eCommerce Search and Online Merchandising categories, as well as an “Outstanding Performer” in eCommerce Personalization in G2’s Grid® reports for the spring 2022.
